A Massachusetts man who as per specialists went after individuals who needed to purchase homes by gathering stores on properties that had either as of now been sold or were not in any event, available to be purchased was condemned Wednesday to 2 1/2 years in jail, government examiners said.
Michael P. Flavin, 39, of Quincy, changed out in excess of 60 store examines adding up to about $1.8 million more than a three-year time frame, as per an assertion from the U.S. lawyer’s office in Boston.
Flavin executed buy and deals arrangements and got store checks from or for the benefit of the expected purchasers, despite the fact that the proprietors of the properties had not consented to offer to those specific purchasers, examiners said.
To do the plan, he manufactured the merchants’ marks, investigators said.
He conceded last December to wire extortion and disturbed data fraud. A meeting will be held sometime not too far off to decide compensation.
